A digital exhibition of contemporary portrait art.

About

Floris van den Oever / oever.art

Floris creates contemporary portrait artwork shaped by Dutch visual memory, symbolic ornament, fashion-like styling, and the intimacy of custom portraiture.

The collection is built for quiet rooms and close looking: faces, flowers, birds, insects, pearls, and painterly gestures appear as a shared visual language.

FAQ

Collector questions

How do I buy an artwork?

Each artwork can use a Stripe Payment Link. Until Floris adds those links, the purchase button opens a direct email inquiry with the artwork title included.

Are prints available?

Yes. The catalog is set up for contemporary portrait prints and print-prepared files. Final print size should be confirmed before production.

Can I request a custom portrait?

Yes. Custom portrait artwork can be made from reference photos, desired mood, personal symbolism, and preferred color direction.

What does the wall preview show?

The wall preview is an approximate static visualization of scale and frame mood. It helps compare presentation options, not replace professional framing advice.

Are the files true large-format print quality?

Print-ready files are prepared from the available source artwork. For very large physical prints, professional upscaling or a dedicated high-resolution render may be required.

How are payments handled?

The static site never uses Stripe secret keys and never creates a backend checkout. It only links to editable Stripe Payment Links or opens a purchase inquiry email.

Do you ship physical prints?

Shipping can be discussed per artwork and destination. Floris can coordinate print preparation or advise on local fine-art print production.

Can custom work be based on personal photos?

Yes. Reference photos can guide identity, pose, mood, styling, and personal symbols while the final artwork remains in the oever.art visual language.
